Project schedules hold commercially sensitive data — contract values, delay events, named subcontractors, unreleased programme dates. ScheduleInsight was built so that data never has to leave your machine: your file is processed only to produce the analysis you ask for, nothing more. A server-side platform, by construction, must become a processor of your programme — a DPA, a sub-processor list and a retention schedule to negotiate for every project you load. The two-plane model removes that surface entirely: your login and billing live on our servers, your schedule never does, and there is no data-processing agreement to sign before you can start.

Yes. Every schedule gets an on-screen Monte Carlo risk forecast in the free viewer, simulating thousands of runs to show the spread of likely completion dates against your planned finish. You control the assumptions: set the optimistic (−%) and pessimistic (+%) ranges applied around each activity's planned duration, pick the distribution (Triangular, PERT/Beta, Trigen or Uniform), and apply different uncertainty to different parts of the programme — for example a wider spread on procurement than on site works. Save those assumptions as named presets to reuse a conservative, aggressive or client-standard set. The Risk Forecast report captures it all as a deliverable — confidence-banded completion dates (for example P50 and P80), the activities driving the risk, and a plain-language summary. Every simulation runs locally in your browser.
